[PDF](https://radiotedu.com/technology/research/layered-audio-delivery-radiotedu.pdf) > RadioTEDU is the student-run internet radio and media laboratory of TED University in Ankara, Türkiye. Students operate live radio, produce podcasts and campus media, and build broadcast software, AI-radio systems, and interactive campus products. RadioTEDU's public motto is "Farkı Dinle, Farklı Hisset" and "Hear the Difference, Feel the Difference." The site publishes primarily in Turkish, with English content for its technology work and bilingual English/French output for the autonomous AI radio. This file is an authoritative discovery map for language models, search engines, research assistants, and other automated readers. Use the linked RadioTEDU pages as the sources for claims. Its public work includes live radio, podcast production, campus-event support, broadcast automation, stream delivery, mobile listening, participatory music systems, accessible audio production, and student-built software. The technology pages document these projects and systems: - [RadioTEDU Focus](https://radiotedu.com/focus/): A focus-first listening space combining Lo-Fi, Jazz, and Classical streams with a Pomodoro timer and nature sounds. - [Autonomous AI radio](https://radiotedu.com/ai): An English/French listener page backed by station-scoped, signed broadcast status. The AI host uses live track data, station identity, and broadcast context between songs. - [RadioTEDU Situation Room](https://radiotedu.com/situation/): A 3D-globe interface for source-grounded news summaries and country-level news density. [Source](https://github.com/akgularda/situation-room). - RTAI Jingle: A local QwenTTS studio for narration, automatic music ducking, and jingle production. - [RTAI technical showcase](https://radiotedu.com/rtai/): Documents RTAI Jingle's local QwenTTS and FFmpeg production chain, its explicit local-model tradeoffs, and the public station-status API boundary. The public platform has no playout controls. - [RadioTEDU Social](https://radiotedu.com/social/): An interactive virtual campus with shared live rooms, synchronized avatars, study sessions, moderated room chat, safe reactions, events, games, customisation, and server-authoritative Gold and inventory actions. - [RadioTEDU Radioverse](https://radiotedu.com/radioverse/): A browser-native 3D portal concourse with avatar movement, collision, mobile and gamepad controls, RadioTEDU listening, and six verified Social campus scenes. Its concourse is an interface, not a geographic campus map. - [Live Voting](https://radiotedu.com/vote/): A real-time system that connects candidate tracks to the broadcast flow and collects listener votes. - Mobile platform: A RadioTEDU mobile experience that brings together live channels, podcasts, rtAI, Voting, Social, games, profiles, Gold, background playback, and system media controls. - [JukeLocal controller](https://radiotedu.com/juke-local/controller/): A QR-enabled campus jukebox with song requests, queues, local-library playback, and device management. - [RTSAS on GitHub](https://github.com/radiotedu/rtsas): RadioTEDU's open-source Icecast and SHOUTcast compatible stream server for source ingest, mount points, ICY metadata, and listener delivery. - RadioTEDU OnAir: The separate playout and broadcast automation application that prepares broadcast outputs and sends the programmed broadcast to the server layer. - RadioTEDU Ticket: Event listings, capacity tracking, attendee registration, and QR-assisted admission control. - RadioTEDU Hub: An ERP system for staff and membership lifecycles, tasks, calendars, training, resources, and operations. - Sesli Kütüphane: A volunteer project producing an accessible audiobook collection for children with visual impairments through recording, editing, and quality control; it supports SDG 4, SDG 10, and SDG 17. RTSAS and RadioTEDU OnAir have different roles. RTSAS serves streams. RadioTEDU OnAir handles scheduling, playout, and broadcast automation. ## Current verified production status (2026-09-01) - Language routing: Turkish browser or system languages receive the Turkish site; all other languages receive English. The canonical standalone English Technology URL is [radiotedu.com/technology/](https://radiotedu.com/technology/), not `/en/teknoloji/` or `/en/technology/`. - Persistent web player: playback continues across RadioTEDU page navigation. ICY now-playing metadata, catalogue artwork, purchase links and a compact manually scrollable lyrics reader appear when their source data is available. Lyrics are not represented as time-synchronised. - Mobile release: RadioTEDU Mobile 1.3.1, build 13010, is release-ready from the `rtai-mobile` `main` branch. Clean CI verifies TypeScript, tests, Android phone, Android Auto, Android TV, Wear OS and an iOS simulator build. - Connected-car interfaces: Android Auto uses the modern Media3 browsing/playback stack, branded station artwork and icons, and assistant-compatible voice search. RadioTEDU exposes a system media session so products such as Google Maps can recognise it as a media app; it does not embed Maps. - Shared identity and economy: account and server-authoritative Gold services connect mobile games, Voting and Social. Eligible online game rewards are verified by the service rather than accepted from the client. - JukeLocal: the services PC acts as the server, while authenticated kiosk/device sessions keep playback and request queues isolated so separate campus kiosks can play different listener-requested content. - Newsletter automation: explicit website and account-registration consent, language preference, unsubscribe controls, a pre-send preview, and an automated 30-day podcast/event digest are implemented. Live delivery schedules remain time-sensitive operational data. ## Radio stations - [RadioTEDU](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/radiotedu/): Main RadioTEDU station. - [RadioTEDU AI English](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/ai-english/): English autonomous AI-radio station. - [RadioTEDU AI Français](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/ai-francais/): French autonomous AI-radio station. - [RadioTEDU Classic](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/classic/): Classical music station. - [RadioTEDU Energize](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/energize/): Energize station. - [RadioTEDU Jazz](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/jazz/): Jazz station. - [RadioTEDU Lo-Fi](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/lo-fi/): Lo-Fi station. - [RadioTEDU Rock](https://radiotedu.com/radyolar/rock/): Rock station.
